California Trip

Last week we went to California to stay with our good friends the Swans. They were staying at an AMAZING resort in a condo and had an extra room so we made a very quick trip to stay with them and play.

Graham loved the plane. While we were waiting for it to take off he kept saying "Readyyyy! Readyyyy!" He did really well. (The ipad loaded with cartoons helped.)

The weather was a little chilly and cloudy but luckily the day we hit the beach it was perfect. Right now Graham is obsessed with trucks and playing in the water. It was heaven for him to be able to dig in the dirt with trucks and splash in the water.

Our last 1/2 day there we went to Magic Mountain. Luckily Hejdi is pregnant also so we spent the day on the kiddie rides.

Graham has ridden little rides before and hated them. But something changed and he could not get enough of them! I was definitely feeling woozy after all those rides. Why is it that 90% of kiddie rides just go around and around in circles?

Zach was feeling a little woozy from the coasters too so he took a break and came to give me a break :)

Graham was wiped out! And it has taken him all week to recover and catch up on his sleep.

The trip home was.... terrible. We left right from Magic Mountain to go to the airport. On the way there Graham threw up massive massive amounts all over! Everything was covered and stinky. We pulled over in the ghetto and tried to clean up as well as we could. We all stunk like throw up, including the rental car and our car seat. We made it on the plane and a few min into the flight Graham had a blow out that got all over his clothes! Of course, right? It was late and we made it home just in time for me to start throwing up also!

Despite the rough trip home, we still had a great time. It was so nice to get away and see Graham experience all those fun things.
